This is simply a book of lists. Space does not allow for an elaboration for the reasoning behind each and every item. However, brief notes have been made throughout on particularly interesting items that may have unique uses. Some items are notated with an asterisk (*). These represent ‘top priority’ commodities that will be particularly useful as a survival item or for trade/barter. Not all items in a given list are intended to be utilized for their obvious purpose. For example, you might not think to grab a puppy pad at a veterinary clinic or pet store if you’re raiding one. However, puppy pads are super absorbent and are great for wound drainage, as well as insulation. Most of the time, in order to survive a disastrous scenario, you will have to get creative and think outside-of-the-box.

However if you don't wish to make your own lists from free sources this item may suit. It does contain many checklists easy enough to understand & use, it is small enough to fit into a day pack well. The book is well written and easy to follow
It may seem like the information in this book is common sense and you wouldn't need to purchase such a book but there is information listed I, a long time prepper, have never considered. It is well-worth the small price!
This little book is priceless. Love it, love it, love it!
Interesting Field Guide. Believe it is a good reminder / list of what different places my have when/if SHTF.
Great to have lists
But the kindle version is not of much use except as a quick read. There's no easy way to edit or print the lists as you could if it was in pdf format. There's no way to do a straight printout either as makes it impossible to print kindle books even when you pay full price for them. If you buy this book get a print version to have the most use or prepare yourself for doing a lot of manual transcribing. Overall it's well thought out and is great to prep a scavenging team or planning on sources for a quick supply run. There is a way to print kindle books but it requires a bit of a hack, which you may or may not be inclined to do.
Used some of the lists for creating my vehicle emergency bag. Has a lot of good information, just find the list you need and follow it!
